ONLINE LEARNING, BUILT AROUND SUPPORT:
Successful admission into this course will give students access to COSAMP’s Student Site, an extensive online resource library with 160+ lessons on audio theory and music technology topics as well as video content and industry reference links. You’ll also get a USB Hard Drive with pre-formatted DAW session files and activities you’ll need to complete your assessments.
Most importantly, you’ll get access to the Online Learning Portal which will walk you through your course, step by step, as well as 10 hours of Online Trainer Support. Our trainers are always on hand to assist with any aspects of the course you need, with tailored one-on-one screen sharing sessions specific to your needs and your DAW / studio setup.

Course Pre-Requisites: Successful admission into this course will involve a short Pre-Enrolment Interview. In addition, prospective students will need to meet the following criteria:
- Year 11 or equivalent
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Access to industry standard equipment and DAW software platform (ie. Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton or Cubase)
- Access to an internet connection

HOW YOU’LL LEARN:
COSAMP’s CUA40915 Certificate IV in Music Industry (Sound Production) consists of fourteen Units of Competency (see below), divided into eight ‘short courses’ that you complete online, in your own time. Learn the skills and knowledge required to work as a digital producer, a live sound mixer or a studio engineer using our exclusive real world exercises to hone your skills. You’ll also learn about planning a business for the new music industry and how to manage your time!
Students are given access to our Online Learning Portal, which will guide them through the short courses within the program. Each course contains a number of logical steps including planning your study, reading and researching, practice activities in your preferred DAW software and submitting your assessment task work.
